2008 Corporate Tennis Challenge
2008 CORPORATE TENNIS CHALLENGE
Dates: February 8-10, 2008
Times of Play: Friday (5 PM start), Saturday (8 AM start), Sunday (8 AM start; 6 PM finish). Players should be available for the entire time.

Format: Company-based team competition. Teams consist of employees, retired employees and/or spouses (spouses must play together). A team can consist of as few as one pairing.
Divisions: Championship Draw and Consolation Draw, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles
Novice (two players with one year or less of experience)
Combined NTRP 6.0 and below (no 4.0 players)
Combined NTRP 7.0 and below
Combined NTRP 8.0 and below
Open Division

Entry Deadline: Completed entries plus entry fees must be received no later than Friday, February 1, 2008 at 6:00 PM.
Entry Fee: Entry fee must accompany all registrations. No registrations will be accepted without the entry fee! $30 per player for one event, $45 per player entering 2 events. Entry fee will include a guarantee of two matches, t-shirt, food, beverages and hospitality throughout the tournament.
Draws: Draws will be posted online Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 12PM, www.northern.usta.com. Search for the event via Tennis Link, click on Draws, then select the event.
Team Competition: Each doubles team will be competing not only for their own advancement in the tournament but also as a member of their corporate team. The Corporate team competition will be determined by a point accumulation system, totaling points from each event. If the organization has more than one team per event, the team which finished with the best point total will be used for point accumulation purposes. Only one team per event will be used for accumulation points.
Requirements: Each doubles team must be employed by the same organization at least 20 hours per week (exception made for spouses). Each player must be at least 19 years old. Individuals are encouraged, but not required, to be USTA members. Companies are encouraged, but not required, to become organizational members of the USTA.
Awards: Awards will be given to the winners, finalists, and consolation winners in each event. The organization accumulating the most points from each of the three divisions will receive the Corporate Tennis Challenge trophy to display at their company for 1 year.
