Adding academics to Tennis for kids in Memphis

This is a great program.  As far as I can tell it is similiar the Minneapolis InnerCity Tennis Kidspeed program but adding a new level.

Tennis Memphis, a nonprofit organization manages the public city courts (in Memphis).

They have been organizing NET (Neighborhoods, Education and Tennis) a youth program that is designed not only to get kids active in tennis and on the court, but to get them to the court and work on academics.  Tres cool!

If we could get Minneapolis to do something like this…

Derrik Dyka, Minneapolis tennis player (learning!), and realtor
