USTA Tri Level Spring and Summer League
Come “tri” the USTA’s newest league in its’ second season — the Tri-
Level. The objective of the Tri-Level is to create a socially competitive
program where teams consist of members with different NTRP levels.
Tri-Level format will consist of three NTRP levels of doubles matches.
Example, one 3.0 doubles, one 3.5 doubles and one 4.0 doubles = Trilevel
team.
GUIDELINES:
• Captains form a team, minimum of 6 players required, two at each
NTRP level
• Doubles pairs are the same level—play is encouraged at your
actual NTRP level
• Minimum age is 19 years old
• USTA membership required
• USTA Northern Section Championship will be held in October of
2008
There is no official USTA National Championship for
this event. However, USTA Northern will be represented
at the 2008 Pacific Life Open Tri-Level National
Championships in Indian Wells, California. Winners
from the 2008 USTA Northern Section tournament will
qualify for the 2009 Pacific Life Open Tri-Level
National Championships, if offered again.
Twin Cities Registration begins :
February 4, 2007
Minimum roster deadline:
March 14, 2007
USTA League fee: $10
All matches will be played at the
Baseline Tennis Center on the
University of Minnesota Campus.
$5 per player per match.
League play will take place on Tuesday
and Wednesday evenings
April 1 through April 25, 2008. If
needed additional days of play could be
added
Leagues offered:
Men’s & Women’s 3.0, 3.5, 4.0
Men’s & Women’s 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
Men’s & Women’s 4.0, 4.5, 5.0

starts April
